DOCS Annual Meeting
Each year, DOCS' annual meeting is held in conjunction with the national Learn-Serve-Lead annual meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The DOCS annual meeting is a vibrant affair with superb attendance by new and old members of DOCS.
​​DOCS 2024 Annual Meeting: Addressing the Emergence of Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Skills Education
​​The 2024 DOCS annual meeting was held on November 8th, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Georgia World Congress Center. This year's Plenary was focused on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education given by Thomas Thesen, PhD, FRSB, Associate Professor of Neuroscience, Department of Medical Education, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Additionally, there were NINE interactive workshops, an exciting poster session, networking opportunities, and the 2024 business meeting. Happy Hour and a mentor/mentee meet and greet occurred from 6:30pm - 9pm Thursday, November 7th, at MAX LAGER'S Wood-Fired Grill and Brewery, 320 Peachtree Street NE. This was a wonderful opportunity for mentors, mentees, new members, or long time members to mingle and get to know one another. We extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who was able to attend.
